Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local Service Ads AI uses very few, and none of them are used to build a profile of you or to show you ads on other sites. This page lists every cookie we set, what it is for and how to control it.
1. Cookies on Local Service Ads AI (this site)
| Cookie | What it does | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you signed in and remembers messages between pages. Signed so it cannot be tampered with. | Essential | Until you sign out or close your browser |
| lsa_ref | Set only if you arrive through an affiliate's link (a web address ending in ?ref=code). Records which affiliate referred you so they can be paid if you sign up. Contains only the affiliate's code. | Functional (first party) | 90 days |
We do not run analytics trackers, social-media pixels or retargeting tags on this site. The font used on this site is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google to fetch the font file; Google says it does not use this to set cookies or to track you.
2. Cookies on landing pages we host for businesses
Pages at www.localserviceads.ai/p/… or on a customer's own domain are built and hosted by us for the business named on the page. On those pages:
| Cookie | What it does | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| lpv<number> | When a page is being split tested (two versions), remembers which version you saw so it stays consistent. Contains only the letter "a" or "b". | Functional (first party) | 30 days |
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_gs and similar | Google Ads conversion measurement for the business's own ads: records that a click on their ad led to a call or an enquiry. Set by Google, in the business's Google Ads account. | Advertising measurement (third party) | Up to 90 days |
Fonts on those pages are also loaded from Google Fonts. Enquiry forms themselves do not use cookies; a hidden field catches spam robots instead.
3. Consent and how to opt out
Australia and most other countries do not require consent for these cookies; we tell you about them here and in our privacy policy instead. UK, EEA and Switzerland: Google's ad-measurement cookies are switched off by default for visitors in those regions (Google Consent Mode, default "denied"), so no advertising cookie is set unless you choose to allow it.
To block or delete cookies, use your browser's settings (usually under Privacy or Site data); blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in. To opt out of Google ad measurement everywhere, use Google's Ads Settings or the Google opt-out add-on.
4. Changes
If we add a cookie, it will be listed here first and the date at the top updated.
